Since Scalise is staying in his present job, Rep. Tom Emmer (R-Minn.), certainly one of crypto’s largest followers in Congress, will not get better energy by entering into that majority chief position. This retains him – at the least for now – as majority whip, the No. 3 position within the House management, until the seek for a speaker finally seeks him out.
