EA Sports makes the leap into NFTs by integrating Nike’s .SWOOSH platform

Nike’s metaverse division Nike Digital Studios has partnered with recreation writer EA Sports to combine Nike’s NFT platform .Swoosh — which stays in closed beta — into EA Sports’ portfolio, though no specific recreation titles have been talked about.

Bringing collectively two of the most important names in sports activities leisure, this collaboration is EA’s first official try at integrating blockchain into its experiences.

The consequence will see some .Swoosh’s NFTs accessible in recreation by way of participant customization.

“Working with .SWOOSH, we’ll bring creativity and self-expression to the forefront for fans as they connect, compete and share their love for sport,” commented EA SPORTS & Racing’s SVP of name Andrea Hopelain.
