Bathroom Blitz 8v8 shooter launching on Yuga’s Otherside platform this week

-

Hoping to ignite new life into its Otherside UGC platform, Yuga Labs has introduced the launch of Bathroom Blitz.

Anticipated to roll out “later this week” as per the Bored Ape Gazette, Bathroom Blitz is a 8v8 deathmatch thirdperson shooter positioned in a single rest room map during which gamers are tiny in comparison with the atmosphere. It’s developed by Command Line, a recreation studio from Theia Interactive.

Command Line founder and BAYC member CryptoVonDoom commented, “Stoked to finally start letting some community members get an early quick chance at playing Bathroom Blitz, and can’t wait to open the doors to everyone next week.”

Constructed utilizing Yuga Labs’ Otherside Growth Package (ODK), Bathroom Blitz is a part of Yuga’s wider imaginative and prescient of making a UGC-driven web3 metaverse platform powered by ApeCoin.

Yuga co-founder Greg Solano, aka Garga, who was one of many inspirations behind the sport, commented, “We are strong believers that modding and UGC is the biggest unlock for gaming and that web3 rails make a whole lot more sense than web2 will ever be able to do.”

In a latest AMA session on Discord, Solano emphasised that the aim of Otherside is to supply a platform the place web3 creators together with Yuga Labs and its accomplice builders can convey concepts to life. The overarching lore will unite these experiences that includes Yuga’s Koda NFT characters, “and the forces of creation and destruction known as Soma and Chaos”.

Consistent with that, Yuga can be making ready to launch its developer toolkit to Otherdeed holders “soon”.
