Animoca Manufacturers has made a strategic funding into Astar Community, an ecosystem seeking to convey Japanese and Asian leisure and gaming tradition onchain.
The quantity of the funding wasn’t disclosed.
By the collaboration, the businesses goal to drive onchain deployment of Japanese and Asian IP for mainstream web3 adoption globally. A key focus is scalable leisure options, with integrations comparable to Anime ID, the identification and repute layer on Soneium, powered by Animoca’s Moca Community and San FranTokyo.
Astar’s mission to assist leisure innovation is additional bolstered by initiatives just like the Anime Artwork Fest, an IP and creator-driven marketing campaign dropped at Soneium by San FranTokyo and Animoca.
By prioritizing leisure tradition and web3 mass adoption, the businesses hope to create new alternatives for artists, builders and digital creators. The collaboration may even leverage Astar Community’s ASTR token for ecosystem development.
