Merging esports and AI in an modern manner, US esports group Cloud9 has partnered with web3 infrastructure supplier Theta Community.
By way of this partnership, Cloud9 and Theta will develop Nimbus, a Cloud9-branded AI chatbot that provides real-time event updates, workforce stats, and personalised insights throughout Discord and Cloud9’s platforms.
Nimbus may also be built-in with Club9’s loyalty program, rewarding customers with XP for his or her interactions with the chatbot. By contributing with significant engagement, customers can progress towards unique rewards and advance to deeper layers within the Club9 ecosystem.
Nimbus is predicted to launch someday in 2025.

The transfer follows different esports groups integrating a few of their operations with blockchain, together with Workforce Liquid with Sui, and Ninjas in Pyjamas partnering with Chiliz’s Socios platform.
