Gaming blockchain Oasys has partnered with Tokyo-based recreation writer and developer Edia. As Japan’s main gaming blockchain, Oasys will redistribute Edia’s full recreation portfolio, containing 139 retro titles, to the blockchain gaming market. 

The joint initiative goals to onboard extra conventional players to web3 by utilizing present well-known IP, some from the 80’s and 90’s. Amongst these are Gaiares, the Valis sequence, Granada, Maplus, and extra. Though conserving their authentic retro attraction, Oasys and Edia will revamp the video games with extra interactive modes and web3 options resembling NFTs.

Collaborating with Oasys is a part of Edia’s deeper plans to re-focus on new challenges going through the leisure trade. Based in 1999, the corporate can even attempt to increase its IP globally whereas adopting to rising web3 and metaverse applied sciences.
